Please make trading worthwile. I would like to see trading of minerals, food, tourism and culture affecting trading between leaders. Tourism could raise the morale of opposite side and other side would get money and I really hate to waste food. Minerals could be stacked to warehouses if no use, but also those could be sold for highest bidder for money. I hate to make trade agreements just to rise position between sides.

problem with that you write now wont make it master of orion anymore. MoO was easy to play but hard to play well. having to much stuffs will clutter the game endgame and make it boring imoho.

if you want all those stuffs then Endless space and the other games more for you  as they got way to much to do for one person on relaxing but hard game

Thank you for saying that; I second.

I hope that the balancing of the economcy goes into this direction:

Less scaling of planet output but better makromanagement of large number of colonies. The game should develope slowly from early game mikromanagement to lategame makromanegement and it should not be possible to produce ships every ~5 rounds on one planet, which can destroy whole enemy races solo. It would be nice that the KI focuses more on defense than offense, so that you have to win the production race over a longer duration and not just win 1 big battle and its over.

Also I wish, that money is more of an issue and that you have to carefully chose what to build(so maybe that it is worthwhile to sell production buildings on a fully developed science planet)

The system of MOO3 governor management worked pretty well with allowing micromanagement at start and then turning to macromanagement at late. Liked very much.
