Feedback on Intelligence types, and techno...

Ok i was hoping for a better Ideas to improve the game section but here goes.
I believe that the game would be improved by a separation of races based on the types of intelligence they apply, for instance ants are capable of completing very complex tasks by an instinctual intelligence where as humans have only recently been able to out do their accomplishment using what i will refer to as cerebral intelligence, its a variation i have read several Sci Fi authors talk about (see Blindsight). I believe that using the diverse races of master of Orion we could take advantage of variation by creating a different style of base game play for instinctual and cerebral creatures and it could also have diplomatic consequences. whilst the selection of technologies and buildings could be cut down the middle species could be devided by their tendencies towards intelligence types. for example (and just a rough example)
Psilons 95% cerebral 5% instinct
Alkari 80% cerebral 20% instinct
Humans 70% cerebral 30% instinct
Bulrathi 60% cerebral 40% instinct
Mrrshan 60% cerebral 40% instinct
meklar 50/50
Darlok 60% intinct 40% cerebral
Sakkra 70% instinct 30% cerebral
Silicoid 80% instinct 20% cerebral
Klacklon 95% instinct 5% cerebral
this is just a rough estimate
also the amount of intelligence leanings could/should dictate diplomatic interactions, klaclkon silicoids and sakkra will instinctively group together and psilons humans and alkari will reason that discourse with enlightened races is the best path to take.
This could further lead to different science and technology, for instance whilst a cerebral race would build cloning centres to boost population by decreasing death rates an instinctual race could build automated hatcheries. instead of a neutron collider to increase production instinctuals could have worker nutrient packs, government centres replaced by pheromone emitters, the possibilities are huge and it would add a bit more character and diversity to the game.
