Used to be a great fan of the old master of orion games, 

but the same here: If there is no turn based combat / hotseat, 

I am not going to buy this game. Sorry.

yep, add another hotseat fan here. i didn't even check if there actually was an hotseat option on MoO, it was obvious to me... it would really change things to better

Just bought it on steam sale, and I'm pretty pissed off that it has no hotseat!!!!! come on guys, it's [edited]Master of Orion, how can that be missing?

If hotseat is added, I will buy the game so that I can easily play with my son.  Until then, the two of us would play SE5.

I really hope that this game gets hot seat. I was looking forward to play it hotseat with my wife. I won't buy it without this. Are there plans to add it  ?

I was pretty bumed about it not having hot seat too. However yesterday I my brother bought it, we played over the network, and it was the best 4x multiplayer experience I have ever had.  The game ran so smoothly. If I were you guys I would seriously reconsider.
