I would like to know what Big Bang Seed makes while galaxy creation screen at game starting? Thank you in advance for your answers.

 

By the meantime, it is a fantastic game in current status. I imagine what it would be at game release. Congratulations Wargaming, for reliving this game. I have been waiting for it more than 20 years..

I'm only 99% certain of this, so take my 2 cents for what they are.

 

It is an easy way to have a specific galaxy created. If you make a seed like "123456", the game will setup a specific galaxy for your game. If you really liked it, and would like to replay or share it with others, just use the same seed, and the game setup will be the same.

 

Try it yourself. Create a new game with a specific seed. Then exit and do it again with the same seed.

Oh, I forgot.... I just went into the game, and of course the other starting game input variables must be the same too. Not just the seed, but also galaxy size, galaxy type and so on.

You are correct, it's a way of helping you recreate a certain setup or share it. Great to experiment with different races or approaches that way. I suppose it will really shine when extra difficulties and custom races are added.

 

@devs: added bonus for me would be able to share a setup + custom race online, and/or save it for future use.

 

If you want to share the exact starting conditions with a custom race, you should be able to simply share the save file that is generated in *user*\Documents\Master of Orion\Saves
