Hi, as an early access tester I wanted to give some feedback so far:
I like:
- the interface (advisor, race presentation, menues feel modern and good to use)
- ship blueprint viewer (modern layout and very intuitive to use)
- galaxy view looks very attracting
I do not like (or think of it as not ideal, descendend priority):
- the fights do not have much tactical depths (round based combat of Moo2 resulted in: ship capture, positioning, firing/shild arcs and movement were more important)
- diplomatic releations decline too strong during the game (all factions hate you after a while, without reasons)
- missing details (when you view a fleet you should have more detailed information about shields, weapons,...; planet building overview bad)
- the news robots are annoying
additional room for improvement:
- building options feel the same on each colony (I would like more options to specailize a colony, though this was never strong part of the series)
- leaders would be nice (ship and colony: Moo2)
- more options for the constuction ships (customizable starbases, more building posibilties in space -asteroids and gas giants are very rare)
- more galactic events
- more research decisions (Moo2)
conclusion:
I really like the modern layout and the connection to the games legacy.
But at this point the game is missing much of the depths of its predecessors and its mayor current competitor (reasons see above).
Because of that it feels too boring to play for me as it is (at least for long), though I think it has the potential to become a very good game.

has a tester too i would like to relay some my thoughts.
i like
- the interface and graphics of the game
- the voice overs
- galaxy view
- planet view (of the buildings and things)
- the ship where you can build stuff on asteroids VERY good
- ship battle itself Very good too
things didn't like
- the ship creating
- the bit where you have only 1 planet in your solar system,
- miss being able to board ships
- missing detail on ships and enemies.
things i like to see improved
- star base designing but your own weapons and gear
- leaders for ship and planets
- more decision in combat like able to split your fire power between ships. (like with your 1 ship able o fire missile and shot another)
- more galactic events
- ground combat (not seen it yet) make it so you see a battle like MoO2
- able to pick your own skills/talents
this it so far But overall im SO excited you decided to bring a new MoO i loved this game and im sure with changes and time you guys will make this the best

I must say i like the game so far it has clearly potential so just some small improvment tips.
-The possibility of recruiting leaders
-Controll groundforces when invade a planet
-More special events on planets and different guardians guarding those planets.
-Different setup for the different races, at the moment it feels like it's the exactly the same startup so you now exactly what do to and what will happen every time you start a new game.
-Add some new techs that we havent seen before
-Add some new races that we havent seen before or maybe was a part of MO 3
