Can We expect a space Russian DLC?

Of course they would be led by Starlin

That game was released 19 years ago

There is literally a whole god damn generation that do not know that that game even exists

Why would it be a problem If They just simply "renovate" the game to current gaming standards?

I never get this way of thinking

Like Oh Naaaaw

They make a good 4X space game even better

The insolence!!

Because the gaming industry has moved on in 19 years. What was novel, complex and state-of-the-art back then would be nothing more than a fee smart phone App these days. Every time there's a new CIV release they update the game and add more content even though the previous versions were all huge sellers.

Don't get me wrong. I love MOO and it was my FAVORITE game 19 years ago and I wouldn't be here if I wasn't excited about a reboot of the franchise. But so far I haven't seen anything for WGs version of MOO that I haven't seen before. I was hoping for something more, something new.

The Civ games are degrading from Civ IV

Civ IV had better diplomacy than V,( my friend played Civ IV and He's not a fan of V)

Overall Civ V is a lot worse without the DLCs and expansions.

With Gods and Kings and Brave New World It is a rather enjoyable game

Civ: BE is a train wreck, It is basically a re-skinned Civ V without the expansions and DLC.

It is rather boring, I did one game, after that I couldn't bring myself to finish another.

Galactic Civilization got a sequel as well, but It doesn't seem like a ground breaking success, 76% on Steam reviews and most of them says that It's buggy and doesn't have anything much over GalCiv 2

There's Endless Space, which is an okay game, but it has terrible combat and does not have that one more turn stuff going on. And other than having space maps and space ships, not that much different from Civ.

The only 4X game that was truly a success and was an enjoyable experience to play is Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and Rebellion, but that game was an RTS rather than a TBS

I mean no matter what You will do with it, it will be a MoO game and it will be extremely similar to other 4X games, that's just how the genre is.

It would be either a MoO, a GalCiv or an Endless Space clone.

And adding something new to MoO is difficult

Like fantasy 4X titles, Age of Wonders, Sorcerer king, Endless Legend are rather similar as well.

The only 4X game that is radically different from the rest is SOASER

E.: Main thing is

4X games did not change that much during 20 years

They have changed

But not that much

The only thing that it's arguably bad about that video, is the terrible cat puns that the Mrshann ambassador/leader, constantly spouts through the video; specially given how one of the creators/consultants keeps repeating how they are trying to precisely NOT do that kind of shit. Everything else sounds and looks awesome.
